The Fox papers primarily portray Fox in his role as administrator and researcher, the largest section consisting of his records as chair of the Economics Dept, 1955-1972. The collection is particularly strong with regard to his professional accomplishments, namely publications. Fox has a prolific writing career that lasted long after his retirement. Many, if not all, of the research documentation and substantial manuscript drafts are found within the collection.
